Monster Legends is a free and fun strategy management game app that combines the fun of collecting monsters like in Pokemon with the strategy and time-based development management of games like Clash of Clans. The game is exceptionally fun to play, but it is filled with in-app purchases that hound the player to spend real money. However, if you are capable of withstanding the temptation, this game is well worth your time.

You'll start with access to a central floating island that acts as your home base of operations. On this island, you can build habitats for your monsters, farms to grow food for your monsters, temples to increase the maximum possible level of your monsters, and other buildings that expand what you can do in the game. Your monsters will live in the habitats you build for them and produce gold, which you can collect and use to build more buildings and grow more food. You feed your monsters to get them to increase in level.

Battling your monsters is another huge part of the game. You'll be able to play through the massive adventure map for single-player fun, and there are various dungeons with fabulous prizes. Battles consist of a maximum of three monsters against three monsters, and they are turn-based and fast-paced. Many of these dungeons come with limitations that restrict the types of monsters you can use. For instance, one dungeon might require water, fire, and metal elemental monsters. Another dungeon might require light, dark, and nature elemental monsters.

You can also join a team and battle other teams in a function that works a lot like the war mechanism in Clash of Clans. You'll have five attacks to gain as many battle coins from the enemy as you can, and each player has a certain number of coins they can lose.
